We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our social strategy, tell powerful stories, and build an online community committed to ending homelessness.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re a true storyteller and strategist, not just a content developer
  • You’re a growth marketer and know how to run campaigns
  • Able to test strategies, analyze data, and redefine strategy from findings
  • You have paid ads experience
  • Experienced in managing social accounts with a few hundred thousand or millions of followers
  • You’re detail-oriented and creative
  • You’re able to work autonomously, but also love collaborating with your team
  • You’ve developed strategies that have proven conversion data

Responsibilities

  • Community management of New Story’s social and digital accounts
  • Development and management of relationships with micro- and macro-influencers
  • Creating compelling storytelling content that increases engagement and conversions
  • Development of conversion campaigns and content
  • Analyzing of data and optimization of strategies

  • Adoption Reimbursement. For families who are willing to adopt, thank you! New Story will reimburse eligible team members up to $10,000 for adoption related expenses.
  • Team Summits. Every 6 months we have a full team summit where we have fun, reflect, and plan for the upcoming quarter. Past trips have been in Tahoe, CA and Whidbey Island, WA.

Interview Process

Full transparency: our interview process is extensive. We like to get a genuine feel for our interviewees just as much as we want them to get a genuine feel for our team members. In truth, it’s not uncommon for a candidate to meet with nearly everyone at New Story when they interview. It’s an easy way for us to find someone who not only has the necessary skill sets but who, most importantly, has the right attitude to fit in with our culture. Typically this process takes 2-3 months from initial job opening to offer.
